We are a few weeks away from being able to enjoy Overwatch 2 for ourselves, the sequel to Blizzard’s award-winning title, which comes completely free of charge for all players. Adopting the model that Fortnite popularized, the title will have a battle pass for each season, something that will make users want to get all the rewards, and therefore, they will play many hours, something that will benefit the studio. And today, we come to inform you that Overwatch 2 shows its first battle pass in detail.

The video in question has been published on the official Overwatch channel, where all the content that we will see in the first battle pass is detailed: from new characters to unlock (like Kiriko, the new support), new cosmetics, skins and many, many more rewards that we will be achieving as we advance in the pass.

With the change of course that Blizzard has taken with this installment compared to its prequel, we hope that the game receives a great breath of fresh air, since it is not far from what other current games like Halo Infinite or Fortnite do with their respective battle passes. Obviously, this skin is way better than the lousy lootboxes, and let’s hope Blizzard doesn’t screw it up, since the title promises to give us hundreds of hours and hours of pure fun. Overwatch 2 will be released on October 4 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
