A few hours earlier, we learned of a piece of news that has left us all feeling down, as Starfield and Redfall (the next titles from Bethesda Game Studios and Arkane Studios respectively) have been delayed until the first quarter of 2023. Users who were waiting like water in May for these releases have been left with a somewhat “empty” Christmas. But it seems that, internally, it has been a good decision, since many workers were worried about the release date of Starfield.
As explained jason schreier, journalist at Bloomberg. During the past E3, he was able to speak with several workers at Bethesda Game Studios, and it appears that some were “really concerned” about the release date, since the title still had a lot of work to do. Internally, several studio workers referred to Starfield as the possible “next Cyberpunk”so we can imagine the state the game was in.
Many workers were concerned about the release date of Starfield
Last spring before E3, I spoke to some folks on Starfield who were extremely worried about committing to a 11-11-22 date based on the progress they’d made so far. (“Next Cyberpunk” was the term floated.) Good on Bethesda for delaying even after announcing that specific date. https://t.co/QdWFf0zGIY

Official: Redfall and Starfield are delayed until 2023
Bethesda Game Studios has made a very good decision by delaying the release of the title, since it would not be pleasant to relive a situation like that of CD Projekt RED and Cyberpunk. Hopefully during this E3 they will inform us more about the state of the game, and, hopefully, we will be able to see in-game footage..
