Hall of Fame wrestler Hulk Hogan experienced a scare Tuesday when a private plane he was on made a rough landing in Iceland.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, explained in a Facebook live video from the tarmac that the hard landing blew out the plane’s tires and melted its brakes.
“Quite an experience landing and having all that crazy stuff happening,” recalled the former WWE star.
Hogan was on his way to Saudia Arabia with fellow wrestler Jimmy Hart for Thursday night’s WWE Crown Jewel event when they landed in Iceland, according to another Facebook post.
The duo was able to hitch a ride with another “buddy” of theirs, whose private plane was at the same airport – and which Hogan panned to in the video.
“Over there is a buddy of ours,” he said, “and he’s got the same type of plane we were on.”
“He’s gonna be graceful enough to let us climb on board and continue the journey.”
