A six-year-old girl began foaming at the mouth and died after her mother got into a car crash while driving naked, witnesses said.
The California Highway Patrol said the mother was driving naked with her daughters, aged six and two, in the backseat when she got into two separate car crashes in Stevenson Ranch, California on Monday.
Investigators say the first crash happened in the area of The Old Road south – but the mother kept driving, running a red light before striking a power pole and a tree.
After the vehicle came to a stop, good Samaritans pulled all three people from the car, which burst into flames moments later, according to CHP.
Bryan Timmerman, one of several people at the scene, told ABC 7: ‘She (the mother) was in the middle console area with no seat belt. She was completely nude, no clothes.’
An off-duty nurse performed CPR on the six-year-old girl who was critically injured in the collision.
Jelene Golbolakh said: ‘She wasn’t responsive, she was barely breathing. She was foaming at the mouth and turning blue.’

Meanwhile, Walter Gomez, who was also at the scene of the crash, tried to comfort the injured two-year-old girl.
‘I just held her hand and I just rubbed her head. I was praying inside making sure she was ok,’ Gomez said.
The children’s mother, a 31-year-old from Bakersfield who was not named, allegedly tried to flee the scene, CHP spokesman Michael Gubelli told the Las Angeles Daily News.
She was taken into custody and sent to a hospital, where she was reportedly been listed to be in stable condition.
The girls were taken to a local hospital where the six-year-old was pronounced dead. The two-year-old was initially listed in critical condition, but was later said to be stable.
Investigators have not released the mother’s identity, why she was allegedly not wearing any clothes or if she is facing criminal charges. Authorities also said they are trying to determine whether alcohol was a factor.
