Martin makes a move on Ruby in next week’s EastEnders, but how will she react?
Ruby has a busy week when she helps Ian hold an event to plug his Walford Councillor campaign and he is desperate to impress. However his reputation is compromised when an unwelcome visitor turns up.
Ruby quickly becomes annoyed with Ian and takes matters into her own hands.
Meanwhile, Max is worried Ruby is avoiding him.
Later Ruby moves into The Vic with Mick and Ollie as part of the wife swap competition.

As she’s in the pub, she’s shocked when she overhears that Martin and Stacey’s relationship is over.
As Ruby unwillingly continues to help Ian with his campaign, Ian coerces Martin into getting involved.
But it’s not long before things get awkward as Ian winds up Martin by mentioning Stacey.

Martin quickly loses his temper and shares some harsh words with Ian.
Later, Mick, Linda, Ruby and Max have a drink together in The Vic, but it’s not long before drama erupts…

Martin makes a quick exit from the pub and Ruby is quick to follow. Worried about Martin, she insists he stays at her flat.
An emotional Martin thanks Ruby for the support and as the pair talk, Martin leans into kiss her but stops himself.
How will Ruby react? And will this be the last time he makes a move – or does he genuinely have feelings for his estranged wife’s best friend?
Is an affair on the cards?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
