First as tragedy, then as chocolate.

A chocolatier in France celebrated 30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall by building his very own chocolate version, the Associated Press reported.

Patrick Roger took a hammer to his own creation and distributed chunks of the edible wall to revelers who gathered to celebrate the fall of Communism.

It felt “amazing to share the taste, the values and a certain wind of liberty,” Roger told wire service.

The wall, made with more than 400 pounds of chocolates, was destroyed within just a few minutes.
