BJP Releases First List Of 52 Candidates For Jharkhand Polls

The BJP has released a first list of candidates ahead of Assembly elections in Jharkhand that are scheduled to start at the end of the month. Chief Minister Raghubar Das will contest from the Jamshedpur (East) seat. While releasing the list, BJP President JP Nadda declared that the state, under the leadership of Mr Das, had seen reduced corruption levels and had become known for stability and development.

Elections in the state will be held in five phases starting November 30. Results will be declared on December 23. The voting dates for the five phases are November 30, December 7, December 12, December 16 and December 20.
